Purpose of Service

Train to gain offers NVQs, and literary and numeracy training, delivered on the job, in the workplace. For NVQs we offer:

Business Administration level 2 & 3
Retail Level 2
Customer Service Level 2 & 3
Warehousing & Storage Level 2
Logistics Operations Management Level 3

What the Service does for Clients

• The service up-skills learners and offers refresher training on induction, health & safety and all relevant legislation.
• Provides the opportunity to undertake Accredited Occupational Training.
• Employees who wish to progress are able to gain credit for the skills they possess via a nationally recognised qualification.
• All learners are offered on-going support and Information, Advice and Guidance.
• Most learners can complete a full accredited qualification within 1- 7 months.
• The facility to undergo Free Training with the co-operation of their employer.

Eligibility

In order access the Train to Gain service, clients must be:
Employed
Volunteer
Self Employed
Aged 19 +
